FontAwesome Icon Template

As a web designer and developer, I find the FontAwesome icon set an invaluable tool at my disposal. I’ve put together a really simple PSD that’s actually something I have handy in my own resources folder.

It’s simply a bunch of pre-made icon backgrounds that you can just drag and drop into your designs. The benefit is being able to quickly drop in the right sized icons with a pre-made background. I’ve also found my designs becoming more consistent over time as I now tend to use set sizes and spaces to accommodate these icon templates. Nothing ground-breaking here, just something simple that I find useful on a daily basis.

Note: You’ll need the FontAwesome icon set installed on your PC or Mac for the icons to show up when you open the PSD.
