About Inspirational Pixels

Hey, I’m Seb. Thanks for taking time out of your day to have a read and find out more about Inspirational Pixels. To cut a long story short this site came about as a way to share all the tips, tricks and knowledge I learn on a daily basis.

You’ll learn how to make websites, plain and simple. I want to help you get better at what you do, which is making websites, and that’s exactly where all my energy on the site goes. I do my best to reply to every comment and try to get back to every email. Get in touch if you have questions.

A little bit about me: I’m a web designer from the UK. I’ve been making websites for roughly ten years and have loved every minute of it. I’m incredibly thankful to every single person who visits this blog because it means my writing is worth something. If I’ve helped you improve your skills then please let me know on Twitter, it’s why I do this.

The Story

Inspirational Pixels (or just IP for short) started life back in September of 2013. I wanted a place to share all the tips, tricks and knowledge I learn every day in the hope of helping my fellow web designers and developers improve their craft.

Over time this site has grown into a serious side project for me. At the moment there are loads of tutorials, articles, freebies, snippets and issues of the Inspirational Newsletter coming out all the time.

This site used to be purely tutorial based, but as my own skills grew into new areas like UI and UX, conversion optimisation, marketing and so on, I began to share what I learned.

As mentioned above, I run a newsletter here on IP called the Inspirational Newsletter. Every two weeks I share the best links from all over the web, as well as the latest content from right here on IP. If you’d like to be a part of it, go ahead and subscribe.

Thank You!

I want to thank each and every reader who’s benefited from what I’ve shared here on Inspirational Pixels. As long as you’re still reading, I’ll keep writing!

I’d love to chat with you on Twitter about what you’ve learned, what you’re working on or even what your daily routine is like. Just tweet me and I’ll get back soon as I can!
