About Inspirational Pixels
Hey, I’m Seb Kay. Thanks for taking time out of your day to have a read and find out more about Inspirational Pixels. To cut a long story short (the long version is below) this site came about as a way to share all the tips, tricks and knowledge I was learning on a daily basis.
On this site you’ll learn how to make websites. Plain and simple, there’s no beating around the bush here. I want to help you get better at what you do, which is hopefully making websites, and that’s exactly where all my energy on the site goes. I do my best to reply to every comment and have never missed an email. Get in touch if you have questions.
A little bit about me: I’m a web designer from the UK. I’ve been making websites for a little over 7 years now and have loved every minute of it. I’m incredibly thankful to every single person who visits this blog. If I’ve helped you improve your skills then please let me know on Twitter, it’s why I do this.
Inspirational Pixels (or just IP for short) started life back in September of 2013. I wanted a place to share all the tips, tricks and knowledge I learn every day in the hope of helping my fellow web designers and developers improve their craft.
Over the last year, this site has grown into something much more than a hobby for me. I now run it as a part-time job as there are new tutorials, articles, freebies, tweets and issues of the Inspirational Newsletter coming out all the time.
This site used to be purely a tutorial blog but as my own skills grew into new areas like UI and UX design, conversion optimisation, marketing and so on, I began to share what I learned.
As mentioned above, I run a newsletter here on IP called the Inspirational Newsletter. Every two weeks I share the best links from all over the web, as well as the latest content from right here on IP. If you’d like to be a part of it, go ahead and subscribe.
I want to thank each and every reader who’s benefited from what I’ve shared here on Inspirational Pixels. As long as you’re still reading, I’ll keep writing!
I’d love to chat with you on Twitter about what you’ve learned, what you’re working on or even what your daily routine is like. Just tweet me and I’ll make sure to reply ASAP!
